"We contacted Ricky at QPlay Entertainment just over a year ago from our wedding after I put a post on a wedding group asking for recommendations for a DJ. I was very impressed at how much we were able to trust Ricky after he sent through all of his details and the contract. His communication is outstanding and he kept in contact over the year with us touching base. He even met with us the week before the wedding where was convenient for us to make sure we were comfortable and we only found out after he’d travelled over an hour to meet us but it didn’t bother him at all. Ricky’s priority is always his customers, he listened to all the requests we gave him and made sure our evening party was the best night we could’ve asked for. I would recommend Ricky to anyone and everyone who would listen. I truly feel that we have made a friend in Ricky! "I put a post on Facebook looking for a wedding DJ and of course I received lots and lots of messages. But I knew that I wanted to book Ricky straight away, because he came across so genuine and polite, and I could tell he would do a great job. Throughout the planning process Ricky kept in touch, and came to the venue for our meeting a few weeks before the wedding to make sure he knew all our favourite music and the plan for the day. He arrived on the day and I didn’t even notice him setting up! I just know that from the minute Ricky started playing, our dancefloor was full. I didn’t even want to tear myself away from the dance floor to eat any evening food haha! I would definitely recommend Ricky as a DJ for any wedding or events. "We booked Ricky for our wedding at Hackness grange on 29.09.25 and we are SO glad we did. From booking a year before the wedding, communication from Ricky was great right up until the day, he was always quick to respond and messaged me a few days before the wedding just to check everything over. He arrived in good time on the day to set up (I didn’t even realise the time until I saw him arrive!), the setup looked fab and he kept the dance floor full all night. We sent Ricky a playlist literally a day before the wedding and he managed to get it spot on on the day, he kept the music flowing and there was definitely something for all of our guests and I can honestly say as the bride, I hardly left the dance door! He even let me steal the mic a few times when I wanted to make an announcement to all the guests (sorry Ricky😂). A few days later he sent me some pictures and videos he’d got of guests on the dance floor which was lovely as our photographer had gone home by this point - so nice to have memories of these things we would otherwise have forgotten about. He also took requests on the night without any issues, even when someone requested the conga! Most importantly, Ricky is SUCH a genuine and lovely guy, we would 100% recommend him for a stress-free, fab DJ and wouldn’t hesitate to book him again for future events. Thanks again! 🥰"

I can honestly say I did not need to worry, from the first enquiry Ricky's communication was great. He also replied back quickly to any questions in the lead up to our wedding and got intouch again a few weeks before to ask some more questions/ a few song choices so he could gauge what vibe we were after. He arrived in great time to set up (which looked ace) and he absolutely SMASHED it. The dance floor was full from start to finish.
